We are delighted to announce that Fisher Adams Kelly Principal Dr Mark Horsburgh has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Licensing Executives Society International. This leading global IP association brings together 32 national and regional societies, with 11,000 members in more than 100 countries. The 11 officers of the LESI Board of Directors exercise the executive functions of the association, and are elected by national delegates at the organisation’s annual conference.
Dr Horsburgh, previously the President of the Australia and New Zealand chapter of the LES, will sit along representatives from four continents including professionals from global corporations like Johnson & Johnson. Elected this week at the LESI Conference in Philadelphia, PA, Dr Horsburgh has been nominated to serve two terms as one of the association’s Vice Presidents.
Dr Horsburgh said of the appointment: “After my interesting and valuable time as President of LESANZ, I look forward to making a real contribution to this vital organisation at an international level.”
