We are delighted to congratulate Fisher Adams Kelly Patent Practitioners Robert Munro and Greg Potter on completing their studies and achieving registration as Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys. Greg Potter

Since 2012 Robert has been a key member of our Engineering team, bringing his experience of record breaking technical innovation to supporting our clients’ needs. Prior to joining Fisher Adams Kelly, Robert was a Mechanical Engineer for EV Engineering (EVE), a start up company focused on building an Australian future in electric vehicle technology. As part of the EVE team, Robert designed a system that allowed a 400kg battery to be swapped in and out of a car in five minutes, helping the team to set a world record for the most kilometres driven in an electric car in 24 hours. Robert contributed to further systems which resulted in patent applications in both Australia and Germany.

Greg has worked as research scientist in highly technical fields at some of Australia’s leading universities. His work includes the study of surface structures on semiconductors, the measurement and analysis of oscillation modes in confined plasmas, and the modelling and development of medical gamma ray detectors.  In addition, Greg has professional experience advising large corporates in radiation detection and advising large construction companies in building acoustics.

Following years of careful study and supervised experience, these attorneys’ registrations now confirm that they are fully qualified to draft patent and trade mark applications as well as to file and prosecute those applications. Working closely with our Principals going forward, Robert and Greg will bring their cutting-edge scientific and engineering experience and their entrepreneurial drive to delivering for our clients – ensuring that creative achievements in Australia get the protection they need to succeed.
