After more than 37 years in the industry, Fisher Adams Kelly Principal Grant Adams retired at the end of July.
Formerly a Patent Examiner, when he was registered in January 1980, Grant was one of only a handful of patent attorneys practising in Queensland. The firm that he founded – Grant Adams & Company, was one of the very first to begin trading in the state. In the subsequent 35 years, he has been a Fellow of IPTA, a member of the APAA Council, and lectured in Industrial Design at QUT. Grant has worked continuously with a number of his clients for more than three decades, and the firm he began with Peter Fisher and Robin Kelly has grown to be one of Australia’s best known.
In the future, trade mark cases at Fisher Adams Kelly will continue to be led by Principal and Head of Trade marks Paul Thompson, supported by Associates Danielle Jepson and Jacqui Symonds. Other cases will be taken on by the Principal in our team with the appropriate technological background. More information on our wider team of attorneys can be found at http://fisheradamskelly.com.au/people/. We would like at this time to thank all of our clients for their on-going support of our company. We would also like to wish Grant and his family all the very best for the future.
For more information contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or +61 (0)7 3011 2200. Grant is retiring to Victoria, and looks forward to keeping in touch with the many friends and colleagues he has made in Australia and around the world in the years to come.
