Jacqui joined Fisher Adams Kelly in 2010 and has focussed on trade marks for the past 4 years. However, she is also a Registered Patent Attorney; an achievement which is underpinned by her scientific qualifications and experience.
Prior to joining Fisher Adams Kelly, Jacqui spent 3 years working as a Scientist and Project Manager at a company specialising in the development of biomedical technologies for wound healing, tissue repair and cell culture applications.
Jacqui also brings experience in the field of life sciences, including immunological and cell biology research for skin cancer. Additionally, Jacqui has worked as a Medical Scientist in a histopathology laboratory where she was involved in specimen collection and processing, tissue staining, embedding and sectioning, immunohistochemistry and frozen section processing.
Jacqui assists clients in a broad range of trade mark related matters including availability and registrability searching, filing, prosecution, oppositions, portfolio management, and advice on the enforcement of trade mark and common law rights. She also assists clients with business names, domain names, designs, and patent related matters.
Jacqui deals with clients from all industries and is dedicated to understanding her client’s commercial goals. She provides strategic advice on her client’s IP portfolio and IP strategy as a whole in order to achieve commercially relevant outcomes.
